On the occasion of National Nutrition Week 2024 (May 9 - May 15), the opening ceremony and discussion meeting was organized on 09/05/2024 at the conference room of the Civil Surgeon's office, Narsingdi.
The theme of this year's nutrition week is: "Eat food with nutritional quality to build a smart Bangladesh".
Keeping in mind the theme of smart and timely, the action plan is decided to make the public at all levels aware about proper nutrition and its requirements by successfully completing the functions of Nutrition Week. Dr. was present at the time. Badiul Alam District Commissioner Narsingdi and President Narsingdi District Nutrition Coordinating Committee, Dr. Abu Kaushar Suman, Acting Civil Surgeon, Narsingdi along with other members of the District Nutrition Coordinating Committee. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Saha, Medical Officer, Office of the Civil Surgeon presented a power point presentation on nutrition. The Nutrition Week program will conclude with the prize distribution and closing ceremony of the Nutrition Quiz on May 15.
