Today, a discussion meeting was held in the meeting room of the Civil Surgeon's office on the topic of what to be done by the officers authorized to implement the Tobacco Control Act. Honorable Civil Surgeon Dr. Farhana Ahmed was present as the chief guest in the meeting, Special guest: Dr. Abu Kaushar Sumon, Upazila Health and P.E. Officer, Sadar, Narsingdi and Ratan Kumar, President, Natab Narsingdi were present as the president. In the meeting, Civil Surgeon Sir gave necessary directions for fixing an effective action plan to remove all types of advertisements of tobacco products.
